1664, and is owned by the Stevens Memorial Library in North Andover, MA. The
digitization was part of a cooperative project between the Stevens Library and
Houghton Library, where the manuscript has been on deposit since 1972.

3. It is a Memorial Stone to Anne Bradstreet, erected September 12, 2000, in commemoration of the 350th anniversary of the publication of The Tenth Muse, North Andover, Massachusetts. It shows where she would have been buried. It was found by John Norton Jr. in 1672.

and family. She had eight children; seven of whom survived infancy. The famed stained-glass windows of St. Botolph’s Church ("The Stump") in Boston, Lincolnshire, England (parish church of Anne’s birthplace) include a “ladies’ window” with a full-length portrait of Anne holding a nest of little birds. The birds are said to represent her children.
